“Kakegurui Twin Spin-Off Unveils Trailer, Visual, and August 4 Premiere Date on Netflix”
The spin-off series “Kakegurui Twin” has released an exciting trailer and captivating visual, building anticipation for its Netflix premiere on August 4. The trailer offers a glimpse into the experiences of Mary Satome, a first-year student, and features the ending song “Queen’s Bluff” by i☆Ris.
The talented staff and cast for the anime were also revealed. The team includes Yuuichiro Hayashi as chief director, Kaori Makita as director, Shigeru Murakoshi as series composer, and Manabu Nii as character designer. Notable cast members include Minami Tanaka as Mary Saotome and Rina Honnizumi as Tsuzura Hanatemari.
The manga, which began in 2015 and currently has 12 volumes, follows Mary’s journey as she navigates the world of gambling at Hyakkaou Private Academy. The main series’ creators, Kei Saiki and Homura Kawamoto, have collaborated on “Kakegurui Twin,” published by Square Enix’s Monthly Gangan Joker.
MAPPA, known for their work on the main “Kakegurui” anime, is responsible for the animation production. The original manga has also spawned two anime seasons, a live-action television drama, and a mobile game.
