‘Elemental’ Arrives on Disney+ Next Week

Pixar’s latest film had an unexpected box office journey.

Following its unique theatrical run, ‘Elemental’ will be available for streaming on Disney+ starting September 13. ‘Elemental’ transports viewers to a world inhabited by beings representing the major elements of nature, where fire people, water residents, air populations, and others must coexist, often leading to conflicts. Intercommunity dating is a rarity, but when Ember and Wade fall in love, they refuse to be bound by societal norms. Despite facing numerous challenges and disagreements, the couple ultimately finds their way back to each other, embarking on a new adventure together.

‘Elemental’s Unconventional Box Office Journey Upon its theatrical debut, ‘Elemental’ opened with a modest $29 million weekend box office earnings. Given its budget compared to Disney’s other major summer blockbusters, it initially appeared that the film might struggle to find success within the animation studio’s portfolio.
