Kakegurui Twin anime reveals new promo, visual, and cast

Prepare for the upcoming spinoff of Kakegurui, as new details have emerged ahead of its highly anticipated Netflix premiere in August. Following the success of the live-action series, the Kakegurui Twin manga by Homura Kawamoto and Toru Naomura is getting an anime adaptation, and fans are in for a treat. Set to debut on August 4, the series has unveiled an exciting new promo and key visual, offering a glimpse into the thrilling world of gambling and high-stakes wagering.

The recently released trailer features the captivating “Queen’s Bluff” ending theme song performed by i☆Ris, setting the tone for the intense and exhilarating journey that lies ahead. With stunning animation and artistry, the trailer sets the stage for an immersive experience that fans of the original manga and live-action series won’t want to miss.

Accompanying the announcement are details about the talented cast and staff who have come together to bring this spinoff to life. Leading the cast is Minami Tanaka, known for her role as Shalsha in “I’ve Been Killing Slimes For 300 Years And Maxed Out My Level,” who voices the protagonist, Mary Saotome. Joining her are Rina Honnizumi as Tsuzura Hanatemari, Yo Taichi as Yukimi Togakushi, Yuko Kaida as Sachiko Juraku, Aoi Koga as Mikura Sado, Seiichiro Yamashita as Aoi Mibuomi, and Rie Takahashi as Sakura Miharutaki.

Under the direction of Yuichiro Hayashi, who also helmed the original Kakegurui series, and Kaori Makita as the director, the team is poised to deliver an exceptional viewing experience. Shigeru Murakoshi, known for his work on “The Gymnastics Samurai,” takes charge of the series composition, ensuring a compelling and engaging narrative. The character design is handled by Manabu Nii, with additional animation direction by Shuji Takahara and Majiro.
